The essentials
- GS Consulting operates DNEA Jobs as a career information and recruiting resource. A listing, inquiry, or application is not an employment offer.
- GS welcomes DNEA Levels 1–4. Qualifications, access requirements, compensation, and availability depend on the particular opportunity.
- Discuss the current compensation for your assignment with GS. General salary guidance does not establish a guaranteed offer.
- Use the site lawfully, respect content rights, and keep classified, controlled, and other restricted information out of general communications.
- These terms include warranty disclaimers, website liability limits, and dispute provisions. Mandatory legal protections continue to apply.
This summary is a reading aid. The sections below explain the terms in full.
Scope and other agreements
These Terms of Use (“terms”) describe the conditions for accessing and using dneajobs.com (“DNEA Jobs” or the “site”), operated by GS Consulting (“GS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). They cover the site’s pages, guides, job summaries, graphics, and related informational features.
Please read these terms before using the site. If you disagree with them, stop using the site and contact us if you need information through another channel. Any provision requiring your agreement is subject to applicable requirements for notice and assent. Merely visiting a page is not an electronic signature on an employment agreement or consent to optional analytics.
These terms concern this website. They do not replace or amend a separately executed employment agreement, offer letter, nondisclosure agreement, client contract, subcontract, or other written agreement with GS. The applicable separate agreement controls its subject matter. Mandatory law takes precedence over conflicting language here.
Our Privacy Policy explains the handling of personal information. When you continue to gsconsultingllc.com, review the GS Consulting website terms, its privacy notice, and any notices presented in that process. Those separate-site terms are not incorporated here merely because we link to them.
Access and use of the site
The site focuses on U.S. career opportunities. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to your use, including applicable access and export restrictions. Availability of a page in another country does not mean GS offers employment or services there.
You may browse without creating an account. This site does not provide applicant accounts, host application forms, or accept payments. If you communicate on someone else’s behalf, you must have authority to provide their information and act for them. Any legally binding agreement requires the legal capacity and authority required by applicable law.
You are responsible for your device and internet connection. Access to a public page does not authorize access to GS’s private systems, recruiting records, customer systems, or government resources.
Career guidance and information
Our guides explain DNEA work, qualification paths, and compensation information for general career research. They are not individualized legal, tax, financial, security, or employment advice, and they do not determine your eligibility for a specific position.
Level names and education or experience equivalencies can differ between contracts and employers. A reference qualification path does not establish that all of your experience will be credited or that a customer will accept a particular degree, certification, or substitution. Confirm material details with GS recruiting for the opportunity you are considering.
Review dates identify when material was reviewed; they do not promise continuous verification. Some drafting or editing may use AI assistance. Neither a guide nor an automated tool on this site makes a hiring or clearance decision. If information appears inaccurate or outdated, tell us which page needs review.
Jobs, applications, and employment
GS accepts inquiries from DNEA Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4 candidates. The four level links support recruiting conversations; they are not individual requisition records. Assignment availability may change as recruiting needs change. We may update opportunity information, subject to applicable law.
Role information is an invitation to explore an opportunity. It is not an offer of employment, a reservation of a position, or a promise of an interview, response within a particular time, placement, contract award, or start date. Reading a page, clicking a recruiting link, or sending an inquiry does not create an employment, agency, consulting, or contractor relationship.
Recruiting links take you to GS’s separate recruiting website and may carry the selected role and inquiry type. A click alone does not submit or complete an application. Follow the instructions in that process and provide any additional information requested through an approved channel.
Any employment offer is made through GS’s authorized recruiting process and is subject to the terms and conditions stated in the applicable employment documents. Conditions may include qualification verification, work authorization, customer approval, required access, contract availability, funding, and business need, as applicable to the position. These website terms do not establish or change the nature of an employment relationship.
Nothing here limits applicable equal-employment, reasonable-accommodation, wage, applicant, or employee rights. Contact GS if you need an accessible way to obtain career information or participate in its recruiting process.
Salary data and GS compensation
The DNEA salary guide helps you discuss compensation with GS and compare the components of a written offer. It publishes dated, anonymized research into advertised Maryland salary ranges and separately identifies GS-approved annual base-pay ceilings. Research includes employer pages and employer-authored job-board listings, including indexed salary evidence where current vacancy availability is not confirmed. It is not a representative market survey, an average, or a record of actual offers.
- GS compensation: the published GS ceilings for DNEA Levels 1–4 apply to qualified candidates and eligible assignments. They are maximum annual base-pay figures, not guaranteed offers or minimum salaries. Comparisons to the top of researched ranges refer to the level-matched Maryland salary evidence reviewed on the date shown, not every employer or every DNEA position. Ask recruiting for the applicable range and complete package.
- Level and qualification differences: an observation for one level does not establish pay for another level. Degree, relevant experience, duties, location, customer requirements, and contract conditions can differ.
- Total compensation: annual base pay is distinct from bonuses, overtime, benefits, employee costs, and other compensation unless expressly stated otherwise. Confirm the complete package before evaluating an offer.
These explanations do not excuse inaccurate or misleading statements. General guidance does not replace any position-specific wage range, benefits description, or other disclosure required by law. Applicable disclosures and written offer terms must be reviewed for the particular opening.
Clearance and customer requirements
Descriptions of clearance, polygraph, citizenship, eligibility, access, or worksite requirements summarize the relevant opportunity or reference material. GS does not make government clearance adjudications. A current clearance or polygraph does not by itself guarantee customer acceptance, transferability, access, or employment.
No guide or inquiry promises clearance sponsorship, reciprocity, reinstatement, a waiver, or a particular investigation outcome. Confirm the requirements and accepted documentation for the specific billet with the authorized recruiting or security contact.
DNEA Jobs is operated by GS Consulting, not a government agency. References to government work, agencies, security requirements, or occupational terms do not imply government endorsement, sponsorship, or approval of this site.
Inquiries and information you provide
Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorized to disclose. Do not impersonate another candidate, misrepresent qualifications, or send someone else’s private information without an appropriate basis. Contact GS to correct material information you previously supplied.
You retain ownership of materials you provide. You permit GS to receive, review, store, and use them as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry or carry out the process you request, subject to the applicable privacy notice and law. Sending a resume does not grant permission to publish it, sell it, or use it for unrelated advertising.
General email does not create a nondisclosure agreement. Avoid unsolicited confidential business proposals or proprietary materials. This does not remove GS’s obligations concerning personal information, existing confidentiality agreements, or legal protections.
Opening an email link does not send a message. If you send one, delivery may depend on your email provider and spam filtering. Contact us again through a known GS channel if you reasonably believe an important communication was not received.
Restricted and sensitive information
Do not send restricted information through this site or general email. These are not approved channels for classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Federal Contract Information (FCI), export-controlled technical data, nonpublic mission or customer information, procurement-sensitive material, or information subject to handling restrictions.
Do not send credentials, access tokens, detailed clearance or investigation records, Social Security numbers, financial account details, medical records, or other sensitive information unless an authorized GS representative has confirmed that it is needed and has provided an approved process. A general clearance-status category requested by a recruiting form is different from supporting security records.
Keep descriptions of your work unclassified and authorized for disclosure. If restricted information was sent by mistake, contact us promptly with a general description; do not repeat or forward the material in the report. Your own legal, contractual, and security-handling responsibilities continue to apply.
Content ownership and permitted use
GS or its licensors own the protectable text, original graphics, layout, and other materials on this site. Names and marks remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing here claims ownership of public facts, occupational titles, government works that are in the public domain, or rights belonging to someone else.
You may read, link to, print, or save reasonable portions for personal career research and share links with others. Keep applicable attribution and notices, and do not present edited material as an official GS statement. Fair use and other rights provided by law remain available.
Except for those permissions or uses allowed by law, obtain written permission before republishing substantial portions, reselling content, creating a misleading mirror of the site, or using GS names or branding in a way that suggests authorization. Separate licenses for software, fonts, or other third-party components continue to govern those components.
If you believe content infringes your rights, email the contact below with the page URL, identification of the work or right concerned, an explanation, and a way to reach you. This contact is for review of reports; it does not represent that GS has registered a statutory copyright agent.
Acceptable use and automated access
Do not use the site to:
- Commit fraud, impersonate GS or another person, send unlawful threats or spam, or violate another person’s privacy or other rights.
- Introduce malware, disrupt availability, impose unreasonable traffic loads, or interfere with another visitor’s access.
- Access nonpublic systems or information, bypass access controls, or perform intrusive security testing without written authorization.
- Harvest personal information, reproduce protected content beyond permitted use, or misrepresent listings as jobs you are authorized to recruit for.
- Use automation to evade restrictions, conceal harmful activity, or continue prohibited access after a valid restriction.
Ordinary search-engine indexing, assistive technologies, and reasonable automated retrieval of public pages are permitted when they respect applicable law, technical access controls, published crawler instructions, and reasonable request rates. This permission does not grant a general license to republish protected content or use it to train commercial models beyond rights otherwise provided by law.
These restrictions do not prohibit honest reviews, lawful criticism, protected wage discussions, whistleblowing, reporting concerns to authorities, or other protected activity. If you notice a security problem, send a general description and the affected public URL; request a secure channel before sharing sensitive technical details.
External websites and services
Links may take you to GS’s recruiting site, official resources, or service-provider information. External sites have their own functionality, terms, and privacy practices. Review the notices applicable to the destination before supplying information.
A link to an independent provider does not mean GS controls that provider or endorses every statement it publishes. We cannot guarantee the continued availability, accuracy, or security of independent websites. GS remains responsible for its own conduct and obligations; this section does not disclaim responsibility merely because a GS recruiting process uses another domain or a service provider.
Privacy and analytics choices
The Privacy Policy describes hosting information, planned or active analytics, recruiting handoffs, retention, disclosures, and privacy rights. It also identifies the current analytics status.
Optional analytics depends on your separate choice. Reading these terms, browsing a job, or following an application link is not consent to analytics or marketing. You can manage analytics through Privacy choices. Declining analytics does not prevent access to career information or recruiting links.
These terms do not expand the purposes for which personal information may be used or waive rights described in the applicable privacy notice or provided by law.
Availability, corrections, and access restrictions
We may maintain, revise, suspend, or discontinue pages or features. Outages, network problems, provider interruptions, and other events may affect access. We do not promise continuous availability or a particular response time.
We may correct errors and update job information as circumstances change, subject to applicable disclosure and notice duties. A correction does not retroactively amend an accepted employment agreement or eliminate rights arising from an earlier statement.
Where lawful and reasonably necessary, we may restrict access to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or material violations of these terms. A website restriction does not by itself determine applicant eligibility, revoke an employment offer, or prevent you from exercising privacy or other legal rights. Contact us if you believe a restriction was made in error or need an accessible alternative.
Disclaimers of warranties
The website and its general informational content are provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent permitted by law. GS does not warrant uninterrupted operation, freedom from technical errors or harmful code, compatibility with every device, or that general guidance is complete or suitable for every individual circumstance.
To the extent applicable and legally permitted, GS disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement relating to this free informational website. No disclaimer overrides an express obligation in a separately executed agreement, excuses fraud or unlawful misrepresentation, or excludes a warranty or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The specific conditions attached to job and salary information remain relevant. This section does not convert approved compensation statements into fictional examples or replace required recruiting disclosures.
Limits on website liability
This section limits remedies for claims about use of this free informational website, only to the extent permitted by law. It does not set a limit on wages owed or on obligations under a separate employment or services agreement.
For claims within that scope, GS and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or business opportunity resulting from use of or inability to use the site, where such exclusions are lawful.
To the extent enforceable, GS’s total aggregate liability for claims arising from use of this free informational website will not exceed US $100. This limit applies regardless of whether the claim is framed in contract, tort, or another legal theory, subject to the exclusions below.
These exclusions and the dollar limit do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that applicable law prohibits us from limiting. They do not restrict nonwaivable privacy, consumer, applicant, employee, discrimination, wage, or other statutory rights or remedies, or obligations governed by a separate written agreement. If your jurisdiction does not permit a particular exclusion or limit, it does not apply to you to that extent.
Responsibility for third-party claims
To the extent permitted by law and supported by an enforceable agreement, you agree to reimburse GS for reasonable, documented losses, damages, and legal costs arising from a third party’s claim to the extent caused by your intentional unlawful use of the site, knowing infringement of that party’s rights, or knowing unauthorized disclosure of restricted information.
This obligation does not arise merely because you browse, apply, report a concern in good faith, make an honest mistake, or exercise a protected right. It does not cover losses caused by GS’s own conduct or impose responsibility beyond your contribution to a claim.
GS will give reasonably prompt notice of a claim and a reasonable opportunity to participate in its defense. No settlement may admit fault on your behalf or impose a nonmonetary obligation on you without your written agreement. Any allocation of defense costs remains subject to applicable law.
Disputes and governing law
If a concern arises, contact info@gsconsultingllc.com with a description and the outcome you seek. We encourage informal resolution. Contacting us is not a prerequisite to making a lawful complaint, meeting a filing deadline, seeking urgent relief, or exercising a statutory right. Informal discussions do not automatically pause legal deadlines.
To the extent a choice of law is permitted and enforceable, Maryland law governs these website terms, without applying its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory protections under other applicable laws remain available.
Where a venue agreement is permitted and enforceable, website disputes may be brought in the state or federal courts in Maryland with jurisdiction over the dispute. This provision does not remove any mandatory right to bring a claim in another competent forum, use an eligible small-claims court, or complain to a regulator.
These DNEA Jobs terms do not require binding arbitration or waive jury-trial, class-action, or representative-action rights. A separately accepted agreement may contain different dispute provisions for its own subject matter; these terms do not amend that agreement or import it into browsing this site.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms to reflect changes in the site, our practices, or legal requirements. We will post the revised text and update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice and obtain agreement to material changes before relying on them.
Revisions apply prospectively to the extent allowed by law. Posting new terms does not retroactively change a dispute that has already arisen or amend a separate agreement. A change to these terms is not new consent to analytics, marketing, or a new use of personal information.
General provisions
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure or delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later. Headings and the opening summary help navigation and do not expand or narrow the operative text.
These terms address use of DNEA Jobs together with any additional website terms expressly agreed for a particular feature. They do not displace the Privacy Policy’s disclosures or separately executed agreements. No partnership, agency, fiduciary relationship, or authority to represent GS is created by website use.
Provisions concerning content ownership, restrictions on misuse, accrued responsibilities, liability, and disputes may continue after website use ends to the extent their purpose requires and the law permits. Nothing in these terms shortens a statutory filing period or prevents protected communications with government agencies, legal advisers, or others.
